When I entered high school, my mother started her own catering company. I became very familiar with some of her first classic recipes featured on her client’s menus. To this day she uses many of these recipes. One in particular was her Caesar salad dressing which stood out to me because it had a very unique taste, one in which I never experienced outside our kitchen.

The recipe’s main ingredient is olive oil which is high in monounsaturated fatty acids which are good for our heart health. You can create your own salad with whichever lettuce variety and vegetables you prefer. All vegetables offer our bodies antioxidants which can protect our bodies from disease.
