Twin Cities Live follows an Open Arms’ delivery

KSTP reporter, Kelli Hanson, visited Open Arms headquarters to speak with several members of our Open Arms community before following a delivery of our meals to two of our clients. Kelli spoke with Ethan Armstrong, Communications Director, about the need for medically tailored meals in our community and long-time volunteer Nelson Rhodus about his experience delivering meals to his neighbors in need. 

Kelli followed along with Nelson and his wife Patti to deliver meals to two of our clients. Kelli spoke with our clients, John and Troy, about how our meals impact their lives and their special relationship with our volunteers.

Open Arms of Minnesota, the Twin Cities-based non-profit dedicated to providing nourishing, medically tailored meals to individuals with critical illnesses, has earned accreditation from the Food Is Medicine Coalition (FIMC). This recognition places Open Arms among an elite group of organizations nationwide that have demonstrated a high standard of care in delivering medically tailored meals (MTM).
