Planting Season On The Farms

With spring comes planting season at our five Open Farms locations! Kelly Wilson (Open Farms Manager) and her team, along with a fleet of volunteers, have been busy getting veggies and herbs in the ground as we embark on the 13th year of our Open Farms program! Kelly has a lot of new crops going in this year, including Malabar spinach, Lina Sisco’s Bird Egg Beans, and Goldini zucchini — all of which will be included in our Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) boxes now available for purchase! Our farms are always a popular group volunteer activity, so please check out the schedule online and take part in providing the best nourishment possible to our clients!
