This is an easy recipe to make homemade granola bars that can be stored and eaten throughout your week!
Breakfast (or anytime) Oatmeal Bars
Recipe adapted from Suburban Simplicity

Ingredients
- 3/4 Cup Oil
- ¼ Cup Molasses
- ¼ Cup Applesauce
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- ½ Teaspoon Salt
- ½ Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 Cups Old Fashioned Oats
- 2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour (Or Other Flour)
- ½ cup Dried Fruit (i.e. Raisins)
Directions
- Mix together oil, applesauce and molasses
- Mix eggs, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and vanilla extract into oil mixture
- Fold in flour, oats and dried fruit
- Grease an 8X8 baking dish
- Spread ingredient mixture into the baking dish
- Bake bars for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees
