Current Openings
Business Partnerships Manager
This position contributes to the fulfillment of Open Arms’ mission by identifying and building relationships with community partners that result in revenue generating contracts with Open Arms. The Business Partnerships Manager requires a proactive individual who can navigate a complex funding environment, think outside the box and build relationships with potential partners interested in purchasing Open Arms meals and services for their clients/patients. This position will be expected to help drive sustainable growth for our nonprofit’s mission.
Grant Writer & Researcher
This position contributes to the fulfillment of Open Arms’ mission by leading and managing the organizations’ existing foundation portfolio, as well as seeking and securing funding from new foundations. The Grant Writer & Researcher will research, write, and track all grants for the organization, realizing budgeted revenue.
Seasonal Farm Apprenticeship
This seasonal apprenticeship contributes to the fulfillment of Open Arms’ mission by supporting Open Arms’ urban farm operations, including the CSA program and Farmers Market. The Seasonal Farm Apprenticeship is a program that provides hands-on training and learning opportunity about organic farming practices, agricultural techniques, and volunteer management. Participants work directly on different farms, gaining practical experience in tasks such as planting, harvesting, and the CSA program. A commitment of 15-20 hours a week for a minimum of 15 weeks
Internship Opportunities
Open Farms Internship
The Open Farms Intern will work side by side with the Farm Program Coordinator and the farm team to complete many tasks over the course of the growing season.
Nonprofit Internship
The nonprofit intern will participate in nearly every aspect of the organization. This internship will play an integral role in the daily activities of the organization, as well as explore the inner workings of running a nonprofit.
