First hmong Menu Meals delivered as part of Cultural Meals Program

Marking a significant milestone for Open Arms, we are excited to announce that the first culturally appropriate Hmong meals as part of our Cultural Meals Program were produced, packaged, and delivered to our clients over the course of June 7-9. With our client services, nutrition services, and kitchen teams working in tandem with Maiah Thao, our Hmong Culinary Consultant, the Hmong menu was developed over the past several months through surveys, focus groups, and tasting events. The program is currently serving 22 Hmong clients who are disproportionately impacted by severe illnesses and is expected to grow over the course of the year. Following the introduction of our Hmong menu, we will now begin the development process of our Latinx menu, set to be launched later this fall. Go HERE to read more about our Cultural Meals Program.
