MINNEAPOLIS (JANUARY 24, 2012) – Open Arms of Minnesota today announced that it has hired Minneapolis-based Chandler Group Executive Search to perform a search for two positions, executive director and development director. An internal search committee made up of board members will work with the Chandler Group to develop a candidate profile and review applicants.
“We are looking forward to working with the Chandler Group on these two important appointments,” said Board President Tim Meyer. “The search committee was impressed with Chandler’s depth of experience with nonprofit organizations in these type of searches. As always, we will also look to our staff and our donor and volunteer community for input during what we all see as a very exciting time at Open Arms — a time of change, but also of phenomenal growth in the organization.”
In 2011, Open Arms client services grew by 15 percent, for a total of 418,842 free, nutritious meals provided to more than 1,800 people.
