Open Arms Cooking Classes at Whole Foods Market

We’re partnering with Whole Foods Market on two different cooking classes centered on healthy, nutritious food.

At each class and tour, you’ll take home a tote bag with yummy samples, recipes and a $5 Whole Foods Market gift card.

Good Food to Live Well Cooking Class

Start the year off on the right foot! In this class, taught by Open Arms Chef Joe Seine, you’ll learn how to bring good health and nourishment into your own kitchen. Chef Joe has 20 years of experience working in restaurants all over the Twin Cites and is looking forward to sharing several recipes that are both delicious and nutritious.

Healthy Eating Tour with Open Arms of Minnesota Dietitian

Join us for a healthy eating tour of Whole Foods Market with Open Arms of Minnesota dietitian Brianna Elliott! We’ll navigate through each department, highlighting foods that will help jumpstart your health for 2018. We’ll also talk about foods and ingredients to limit, as well as tips for shopping at Whole Foods Market on a budget. You’ll leave with healthy recipes and tip sheets to take home with you.

Open Arms of Minnesota, the Twin Cities-based non-profit dedicated to providing nourishing, medically tailored meals to individuals with critical illnesses, has earned accreditation from the Food Is Medicine Coalition (FIMC). This recognition places Open Arms among an elite group of organizations nationwide that have demonstrated a high standard of care in delivering medically tailored meals (MTM).
